Andrea

Andrea M. Page (Hunkpapa Lakota) is the author of Sioux Code Talkers of World War II (Pelican / Arcadia Publishing 2017). Andrea writes middle grade, picture books (nonfiction and fiction) as well as educator guides. Her latest work is a middle grade book titled Who Was Wilma Mankiller? (Penguin Workshop, Fall 2025). Andrea serves as a board member for the Children’s Literature Assembly (CLA) of the National Council for Teachers of English (NCTE) and is an instructor at the Highlights Foundation. Andrea is a long-time member of the Rochester Area Children’s Writers and Illustrators (RACWI) group and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
