London Ladd is an accomplished illustrator whose work has been featured in renowned picture books and editorial illustration publications like HarperCollins and The New York Times. He employs a distinctive mixed-media technique using acrylic paint, cut paper, and tissue paper. He currently serves as an assistant teaching professor at Syracuse University, where he earned his BFA and MFA degrees. Ladd was recognized with an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts from the State University of New York and nominated for an NAACP Image Award. He was also a finalist for the World Illustration Awards and received accolades from several organizations, including the Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, and the American Library Association.
