Laurel

Laurel Goodluck is Mandan, Hidatsa from the prairies of North Dakota, and Tsimshian from the rainforest in Alaska. She resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with her Diné husband. Laurel has three award-winning books, Forever Cousins (Charlesbridge, 2022), Rock Your Mocs (HarperCollins, Heartdrum, 2023), and She Persisted: Deb Haaland (Penguin Random House, Philomel Books, 2023). She released a new picture book this year, Too Much, My Great Big Native Family (Simon&Schuster Books for Young Readers, 2024).
